Located in Malappuram district, Nilambur’s, topography is highly undulating with the hill top covered with dense forest. The climate here is almost the same as in the other places in the state with dry seasons from December to February and hot seasons from March to May.

The land experiences heavy monsoon from June to September. Overall, the climate is generally hot and humid.
