Tips’ from Ms. Anjali Nair.

The students got a rare opportunity to Interact
with the renowned Film Director, Ms. Anjali Nair during a one day
workshop on Acting on 18th November, 2003. Apart from sharing her
rich experience, she gave the students some valuable information on
Body Language, Expression, Voice Modulation etc. The workshop culminated
in the production of a twenty minute long documentary film on the
school made by Ms. Anjali, the students Jaleel, Ummar, Shakil and
Ashin enacted the lead roles.

Expressions’. A mime show during the Annual Day

A creative interaction with Dr. Farooq Ahmed Wasil
MA,M Phil, PhD., Chairman, Council of CBSE Affiliated Schools in
the Gulf, and Convenor, Staff Assessment Committee of the Asian
Wing of the Varkey Group of Schools took place from 18th to 20th
December 2003 at the School. He pointed out that the teachers must
enforce the self learning system which will make the student more
inquisitive, dynamic, and explorative. He stressed the need for
team effort, insight and sympathy in solving the problems of indiscipline,
and restlessness among the teenagers. He inspired the teachers to
act as a parent so that the child may not suffer from emotional
deprivation, in a boarding school where he craves for genuine parental
love from the teachers.
