An Ability Advancement Programme was organised by the Counselling and guidance department on 8th January, 2004 in association with Centre for information and Guidance India (CICI), Kozhikode for the faculty and students. Mr.N.V.Kabeer (Executive director) and Mr, P.P.Hashim facilitated the programme. Interactive sessions on Developmental Psychology, Transactional Analysis, and Pro-activity (for teachers) and Motivation, Goal Setting and Pro-activity (for Students) afforded new insights to the participants. Psychological games and activities made the workshop fruitful and effective. A career planning workshop complete with aptitude testing and individual counselling, was held for High School and Senior Secondary students.
